What is the Friends and Family Test?

Would you recommend MKUH to friends and family?

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help the NHS understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided and to show where improvements can be made. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.

Since its launch in 2013, more than 25 million pieces of patient feedback about NHS services have been submitted.

How does it work?

When you complete your treatment or are discharged from a ward or department, you will be invited to complete the FFT. You can fill out a paper FFT form whilst still on the hospital site or you can complete the form online by scanning the QR code on the form or clicking one of the boxes below.

Most departments and wards will display a collection box and have feedback forms available, so you can complete one at any time. If you don’t see anything and want to give feedback, please ask a member of staff.
