Consultant Midwives

When you are planning to become pregnant, or during your pregnancy, there may be times when you would like to have a conversation about how your pregnancy is going or about giving birth. You may want support with decisions or understanding your options.

We are here to offer advocacy and support for anything you need, including discussing your birth preferences and options.

Meet the Team

We run a quarterly event which gives you the chance to meet the wider team who will care for you during your pregnancy, birth and beyond. We have members from the Obstetric Team, Neonatal unit, Physiotherapy, the Perinatal Mental Health Team, infant feeding, Antenatal Day Assessment Unit, Community Midwifery, Anaesthetics, Health Visitors as well as the Consultant Midwives and your local Maternity Voices Partnership. It is a great opportunity to meet the team and ask questions.

These evening events are held at the Academic Centre at Milton Keynes University Hospital. You can find details on the MKUH website during the month of the event or by contacting [email protected]

Your community midwife may offer you a referral or you can self-refer to the consultant midwives at any time by emailing [email protected]
