Emergency Department Support
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEERS – Age 18+
As a passionate and outgoing individual you will be supporting our busy Emergency Department, chatting to patients and relatives who are waiting for test results or other treatment.
You may be asked to provide a welcome cup of tea and share sandwiches for those who are able to eat and drink. You may also be asked to assist with the distribution of meals and help the Housekeeper to unpack and distribute stores.
By assisting the team with various duties you will enable clinicians to carry on with their clinical duties whilst providing comfort to patients and their relatives who may be waiting in the Emergency Department.
