FlexNHS – Flexible Working

Case Studies

The Flex NHS campaign will use case studies to highlight best practice in flexible working and where practice could be improved.

Your stories are a really powerful way to raise the profile of flexible working and work/ life balance.

If you want to share your story of flexible working or have been contacted by one of the co-founders of Flex NHS about doing so, please complete this template and email it to Kate Jarman at [email protected].

We are delighted to offer flexible working opportunities to support our colleagues, enabling them to better do what they do best – providing an exceptional level of service and experience for patients.

The Flex NHS movement was recently introduced at MKUH to create a supportive, encouraging and resourceful network amongst staff. This is available to every profession, in every role and every grade across the organisation, helping to generate more conversations about the benefits of flexible working.

The network has now extended to all organisations across the NHS, particularly highlighting that there is not one sole reason for accepting flexible working or one approach that works for all members of staff. It is vital that a number of different approaches are used to enable the most productive and effective organisational culture and the Flex NHS network allows colleagues to share ideas and best practice which they can take back to their individual organisations.

As a member of #TeamMKUH, and as a colleague working within the NHS, we are here to support you. Our Twitter is full of useful and insight discussions which is helping to shape the future of flexible working. To get involved and let us know about what you are doing in your organisation, tweet us @FlexNHS or use #NHSFlex.
