Ward 17

Ward 17 is a 26 bedded acute coronary care ward caring for male and female patients.

We have a team of highly skilled doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants caring for all our patients’ holistic needs and promoting independence and rehabilitation.

We care for and support patients with chronic heart conditions and deliver care to acutely unwell cardiac patients.

We partner closely with the cardiology department in the Trust, performing pacemaker insertions, diagnostic cardiac angiography and other procedures. We also collaborate with the cardiac teams in our tertiary centres, for our patients requiring transfer.
