Hidden Stars: Malcolm Sunasky, Chaplaincy Volunteer
I’ve been a Chaplaincy Volunteer since July 2015. I normally come in on a Tuesday morning and spend about an hour-and-a-half on Ward 15, talking to patients and staff and providing a listening ear.
In mid-March, ward visiting for volunteers was suspended and I missed my usual visits. I was really glad when the Staff Hub opened in early April and now come in at least 5 days a week to provide a listening ear to staff, make tea for those that what it etc. I am really enjoying being able to come to the hospital and support the teams here.
