Today marks the start of National Customer Service Week. The PALS and Complaints team have a number of exciting things planned throughout this week. Have a think about who your “customers” are, and the things you do everyday to improve their experience.
Knowing your customer/web pages
The National Customer Service Week theme for today is: ‘Knowing your customer’.
The PALS and Complaints team have been thinking about the people who use and are affected by the service they provide. The team have been particularly focussed on improving the ways in which patients and their families can provide feedback about the hospital, so please take a moment to visit the new look “Tell Us About Your Care” pages on the website!
The team have been considering how they can engage, understand, and communicate with staff across the Trust. This collaborative working is vital in ensuring the team provide a good service to our patients and their families. The team have recently undertaken some bespoke training, provided by NHS Elect, around communication and empathy, and they have a special announcement about their latest efforts to put themselves in their colleague’s shoes…
