New Year’s Day Babies at MKUH
Seven new bundles of joy entered the world at Milton Keynes University Hospital on the first day of 2023.
Tiny Aizel Zeeshan Yahyah was the first to make her appearance – at 2.45 am – a happy new addition to the family for mum Maryam Khan and husband Mohammad Zeeshan Yahyah from Glebe Farm, Milton Keynes. Her older sister Minal (two) is excitedly waiting to meet her new sibling.
Mum Maryam said: ‘It’s lovely to think that Aizel was the very first baby to be born into a brand new year.’
In total there were four girls and three boys born at the hospital on January 1 – the final arrival of the day came into the world at 8pm. It’s been a busy time on the Labour Ward over the festive period, with 10 babies arriving on Christmas Day too!
