Mobile Phone Charging Station Introduced in ED

The Fundraising and Patient Experience teams at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) have come together to introduce a brand-new mobile phone charging station in our busy Emergency Department.

Located in the ED waiting room, the station is easy to use and will undoubtedly be a boon for patients and visitors.

Vanessa Holmes, Associate Director of Charity & Fundraising, said: “I am so pleased to have worked with the Patient Experience team to set up our first mobile-charging station, specifically for patients and visitors at the Trust’s very busy Emergency Department. Our hope is that it is of use to people who unexpectedly find themselves in ED without a charger to hand.”

There is a small charge to use the unit with a view to this money going to the hospital charity following a trial period.
