Date: 11/11/2019

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was proud to have been shortlisted at the prestigious HSJ Awards which were held on Wednesday (6/11).

Whilst the Trust did not win in the category of ‘Acute or Specialist Service Redesign Initiative – London and the South’, it was shortlisted for the work of its multi-disciplinary team’s collaborative service redesign to save lives, reduce diabetic foot amputations and costs.

The HSJ awards, which were held at Battersea Evolution and hosted by actor James Nesbitt, are an annual celebration of healthcare excellence and recognise innovation and service improvement across the NHS.

Suzanne Raven, Senior Operations Manager – Internal Medicine CSU at MKUH, said: “The multi-disciplinary team didn’t come away with the award in this strong category, but congratulations to them nonetheless for being shortlisted. We are all proud of your achievements and the continued development of this service.”
