Milton Keynes University Hospital continues to offer Entonox during labour amongst concerns
You may have seen concerns raised recently at other NHS organisations around the use of Entonox (also known as gas and air) in Maternity services in England.
We understand this may have caused some concerns for birthing people, however, we would like to provide reassurance that Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) is not currently affected. The Maternity Unit at MKUH recently installed an Anaesthetic gas scavenging system as a way of ensuring that our supply of Entonox is safe for all.
