Governors and Non-Executive Directors Spread Holiday Cheer at MKUH
Staff and patients at Milton Keynes University Hospital were met with heartwarming gestures last week as Governors and Non-Executive Directors visited wards to distribute gifts of chocolates, toiletries, and other thoughtful treats. The visit aimed to recognise the hospital’s hardworking staff while bringing smiles to patients during their stay.
Heidi Travis, Chair of the Trust who was part of the visiting groups, said: “Our staff go above and beyond every day to provide exceptional care, and it’s important they know how much they are valued. These small gestures are a token of our appreciation and a reminder that their dedication does not go unnoticed. We’re also mindful of how challenging it can be for patients to be in hospital, especially during this season, so bringing them a little joy means a great deal to us all.”
