Exploring robotic solutions: concept robot onsite this weekend
MKUH continues to explore robotic solutions that could support the hospital and its staff, having recently established a relationship with Cranfield University and Swift Robotics, who will be working with us to look at the potential of robot deliveries at the hospital site.
The team will be onsite this weekend (26 – 28th May) to begin mapping and testing routes. Supported by Trust staff at all times, a concept robot will be led around specific public areas, such as corridors, to carry out this work.
