Decontamination Tent Training Exercise
On Tuesday 5 September 2023, Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) will be holding a training exercise for our Emergency Department staff in support of our CBRN/HAZMAT training programme. The exercise, which will take place from 1030 – 1300hrs, forms part of the Trust’s emergency preparedness activities and will see our staff responding to a simulated scenario in readiness should they ever be required to respond to a major incident.
During the training, a decontamination tent will be set up outside of the Emergency Department. Our Emergency Department staff will be taking part in several walkthrough training sessions during that time.
There will be no disruption to services and facilities at the hospital. Patients should come to their appointments as normal.
