Virtual Outpatient appointments – Patient survey
As a Trust, our ambition is to embrace new digital technologies wherever possible to make it easier and simpler for our patients to receive the care that they need. In alignment with our Green Plan, we are offering virtual appointments to more and more of our patients attending an Outpatient clinic, allowing them to receive the care, advice and support they need from the comfort and convenience of their homes.
To enable us to continually develop this service and make it more accessible to all of our patients, from Wednesday 2 February, those who have attended an Outpatient virtual appointment will receive a text message asking them to complete a short survey. This survey will ask about for further information about their appointment and will allow us to learn how and where we can improve the service in the future.
Similarly to the mobile FFT service we launched last year, this survey will only be available to patients who have registered for our MyCARE portal. The SMS will come through within 48 hours of any outpatient appointment.
If you have any questions about the service, please speak to a member of the team who will be happy to help.
