Milton Mouse Children’s Unit is to reopen on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024
We are delighted to tell you that the Milton Mouse Children’s Unit is due to reopen for appointments on Tuesday, 28 May, following an extensive £900K refurbishment to expand its clinical space and improve facilities. The new facility will allow us to see more children and young people quicker, with the benefits of:
- a new layout, including a new reception area and additional clinical space,
- five outpatient consultation rooms,
- six beds and four chairs in an ambulatory unit (Day Care Unit),
- brand-new working facilities and equipment to improve the environment for both staff and patients.
Patients with appointments that will now take place in Milton Mouse will be contacted directly with further details. The main entrance to Milton Mouse Children’s Unit is opposite car park A, next to the hospital Emergency Department.
