Closure of Car Park C to facilitate new mobile theatre unit
From tonight (Thursday 18 January), we will be closing Car Park C to allow for a new temporary mobile theatre unit to be installed.
This mobile theatre will enable the Trust to expand our clinical capacity, ensuring more patients are seen and treated, as well as continue to deliver elective surgery to patients while essential upgrade work takes place across the site.
Three blue badge spaces will be re-provided near the MRI unit and have been marked in red on the map below. Patient and visitors are advised to use Car Park D (the multi-storey) as an alternative if accessing the treatment centre or other services located in this area of the hospital.
Ground works will be taking place in Car Park C from tomorrow (19 January ) ahead of the mobile theatre unit being delivered on Sunday 28 January. More information about the new unit will be available on our website soon.
