Hospital swab service for elective patients

If you are due to have a surgical procedure at the hospital, you will be required to receive a COVID-19 swab test prior to your admission date. You will have been given an appointment as part of your pre-assessment.

Please note our service is a drive-through so you will need to drive yourself or be driven by someone who is isolating with you. If you do need to come in a taxi please make sure you have a face mask or covering (as per current government advice) for the duration of the journey.
