Miss Amanda Taylor

Having qualified from Manchester in 1992, I completed most of my training in the Oxford Region. I have worked at Milton Keynes University Hospital since 1998 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon here in 2009. While undertaking my Postgraduate Diploma in Breast Evaluation I developed an interest in breast disease in the younger patient and used this when setting up my under 35 clinic. I also have an interest in the Family History of Breast Cancer and was a member of the NICE Committee for the Guidelines on Familial Breast Cancer which were published in 2013. I have taught on and acted as Course Director for the Royal College of Surgeons course for Speciality Skills in Breast.

As well as my position as a Consultant Surgeon, I am also one of the Foundation Training Programme Directors at the Hospital.
