Children’s Orthopaedics
Welcome to Children’s Orthopaedics. The Children’s Orthopaedic Department is lead by Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant Mr Dala-Ali. The team consists of orthopaedic specialists who may be doctors or advanced clinical practitioner physiotherapists. They are supported by an administrative team.
Orthopaedic specialists are experts in bones, muscles and joints. They manage both long-term and acute (short-term) conditions. Treatments may be surgical or conservative (non-surgical). Paediatric orthopaedic specialists understand the growing, developing musculoskeletal system and can help to prevent and treat a wide variety of conditions in children from birth to 18 years.
