Dr Bimal Kumar

Dr Kumar completed his MBBS at Sydney University in 1989. He then completed his ophthalmologic at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital before becoming a registrar in St Paul’s Eye Department at the Royal Liverpool Hospital between 1993 – 1995. Dr Kumar then obtained his fellowship in corneoplastics in 1996.

Dr Kumar has particular interests in general ophthamology and oculoplastics. He is also the complaints and clinical governance lead. He further enjoys teaching the junior doctors at MKUH.
