Dr Bina Parmar

Miss Parmar qualified in Medicine from King’s College London in 1998.

She underwent basic specialist training in Ophthalmology at St Thomas’s Hospital before completing her higher specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Miss Parmar undertook two sub-specialty fellowships in Paediatrics and Strabismus – the first at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the second at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.

Miss Parmar worked as a Locum Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital before commencing her substantive Consultant post at Milton Keynes Hospital in 2011.

Miss Parmar is a General Ophthalmologist with a sub-specialist interest in Paediatrics and Strabismus. She have an interest in post-graduate medical education and has been involved in training junior doctors as well as medical school teaching.

She is also a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Micro-Surgical Skills team and enjoys promoting simulation training for doctors.
