Additional Parking
Several proposals are being developed to relocate and accommodate additional car parking capacity at MKUH in support of the hospital estate’s growth.
A new staff Multi-Storey Car Park
As part of our programme of enabling works to deliver a new women’s and children’s hospital at MKUH, funding has been approved to build a new staff multi-storey car park to accommodate additional capacity. Construction is due to start in August 2024 and is expected to be completed by summer 2025.

Additional spaces in Car Park B
Following the development of the Readiotharapy Centre, an additional 30 public parking spaces have been provided in Car Park B, adjacent to the new building. 13 spaces have been provided jointly as staff parking and as a set-down area for a mobile MRI unit.
