Our Vision for 2030

Milton Keynes University Hospital 2030 Estates Vision

Milton Keynes is a fast-growing city which requires a healthcare system that can continue to meet the needs of its community.  At Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH), we recognise this need and seek to develop a hospital that continues to provide the best in acute healthcare. Our MK View: 2030 Estates Vision sets out our plan to deliver a technologically advanced hospital estate that offers additional service capacity and clinical enhancements.

As part of the hospital’s extensive expansion plans, the Secretary of Health and Social Care has announced that plans will go ahead to deliver a new hospital facility at MKUH, as part of the Government’s New Hospital Programme. This will be the largest infrastructure project the hospital has seen in over a decade. The new facility will house Women’s and Children’s services and provide additional elective surgical capacity, with a completion date set for 2030. Find out more about our plans here.
